The medals for Lance Corporal George Hardy, 8th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps who died, France and Flanders, on the 3rd October 1916. He is Remembered with Honour at HEILLY STATION CEMETERY, MERICOURT-L’ABBE, FRANCE.

He landed at Boulogne with the 8th Bn. KRRC on the 21 July 1915, later transferring into the 8th Battalion. George Hardy was born and lived in Derby and enlisted at Nottingham.
