IGSM Medal Roll

Service Papers
Of great interest is that his papers reveal that he served under this name as an alias Charles E Clark, serving under the same number. On these papers his mother is noted as Deceased – she was Elizabeth Ferris of Walworth, London.
The papers also confirm that he fought in the Anglo Boer War with the 1st Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and was awarded the Queen’s South Africa Medal with Cape Colony clasp, Relief of Ladysmith clasp, Tugela Heights clasp and Belfast clasp, along with the 2 clasp King’s South Africa Medal.

QSA Medal Roll
The Boer War QSA KSA medal pair would be named to the same number, same Regiment but to Charles E Clark. This would make a superbly different re-unite. This is confirmed on the 2 medal rolls.
