Description

Thomas Tracey was born in Daventry 1873. He attested 13th May 1892 and served in Malta, India, then South Africa. He deserted in 1901 rejoined and served 1 years imprisonment with hard labour. He completed 12 years with the colours.

His papers, which are on-line reveal frequent charges throughout his service culminating in his desertion and sentence.

Medal, which has been heavily rubbed has Relief of Kimberley, Paarderberg, Driefontein and Wittebergen clasps is named to 3550 PTE T. TRACEY. R. WELSH. FUS.
