A Royal Naval Chief Gunner who died June 1919 Great War medal trio.

Albert George Baggs died 5th June 1919 and is Remembered with Honour in Strathaven Cemetery (Commonwealth War Grave). Of Burlington Road, North End, Portsmouth he died at Naval Hospital, Haslar, Portsmouth leaving his widow, Jessie Loudon Baggs who was from Glasgow, Scotland.

Born 18th September 1869 in Gravesend, Kent. He joined the Royal Navy, as 134153 at Portsmouth. He joined as Boy 2nd Cl 1885. He was promoted to Chief Gunner 1st April 1912.
