Royal Marines Light Infantry Great War medal trio. John Christopher Cooper was born 1897 in Bermondsey, London. He joined the RMLI 12th September 1914.  He was discharged, invalided having served 4 years and 154 days with bronchitis. He had served with 1st Battalion, RMLI in France with the Expeditionary Force and later 2 spells on H.M.S. Duchess of Devonshire.
