We have a good selection of new material which will make their debuts at this year’s Medal Fair at the OMRS Convention at Kents Hill Park Conference & Training Centre, Milton Keynes on 20th September

The following items are all being researched currently. They are amongst 100 new items to be shown.

The Star of the show being the

Great War medal trio with Long Service medal group of 4 to one of the 32 Officers and Crew of the stranded and shelled submarine E15, taken Prisoner of War with the original parchment papers and other documents of this Submariner whose career was spent in the Submarine Service until the 1930s.

Pride of our stock is the most superb Sporting Great War medal group.

Great War medal trio to Reggie Walker, South African Infantry. The significance of this humble trio is that in 1908 Reggie Walker was the 100 metre winner at the 1908 Olympic Games held in London. He won the 100 metres in 10.8 seconds, a time bettered by the current owner in 1978 (see below).

Amongst other items are:

  1. Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (EVIIR) to the Armourer of the paddle gunboat, Kinsha.
  2. 14/15 Star trio and LCC Fire Brigade Coro medal to a 1917 DSM  winner and M.I.D.
  3. T.S. EXMOUTH medal to issued 1879 with additional Good Conduct bar 1880
  4. Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVR) to H.M.S. PLATYPUS ,WW1 submariner on  B1 & L3
  5. 14 Star trio with LSGC, swing mounted to R.M. BRIGADE – with original parchment papers.
  6. WW2 group – plus Arethusa & Chichester T.S. medal
  7. 15 TRIO with RNR LSGC to an Armed Cruiser Skipper.
  8. Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (VR) to  H.M.S. FLORA who was also awarded a 2 clasp Egypt medal.
  9. 14 TRIO – to a 4th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers private Killed in Action after only 3 weeks in the field.
  10. 14 Star with clasp trio swing mounted to 15th Hussars
  11. QSA (CC) KSA (1902 only) – unique combination to the Buffs.
  12. Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVR) to HMS Oratava
