Description

A very good multi campaign long service medal group consisting a 6 clasp QSA medal pair, Great war medal trio and Edward VII Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.

Born 1878, he was an 11 year old boy when he was apprenticed into the Royal Artillery.  Sergeant William James Emby, aged 34, was initiated into the United Military Lodge, Woolwich, on the 6 Dec 1912

With Soldier’s Small Book named to William James Emby and small selection of press cuttings and 5 super photographs. His Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was awarded 1911.
