The medal group to a British Army Warrant Officer who was awarded the MBE (Military) for his service during Operation Veritable, Battle of the Reichswald. With the unusual American Battle of the Bulge  Veterans award.

51st Highland Division, 30 Corps citation ( WO 373/86 ) is as follows: MBE Periodical.

This Warrant Officer has been the Regimental Serjeant Major of this Divisional RASC since May 1944 and has consistently giver distinguished and gallant service. Throughout the European campaign he has never spared himself – at all times of the day and night he has been more than ready to undertake any duty assigned to him…..During the early beachhead days and again during the build up for Operation Veritable he was employed in collecting loads of vital stores. In the latter operation particularly, the distances to be travelled were very great and the dumps were scattered and difficult to locate….

As the citation states Moore had 20 years of service behind him and he was obviously and much appreciated and respected asset.
