2005 UK Nelson & Trafalgar Silver Proof 2 Crown Set was issued to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Nelson’s death and the Battle of Trafalgar.
The Nelson crown features a portrait of Nelson in the uniform of Vice Admiral. The Trafalgar crown features the Victory, Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar, by Clive Duncan. Both crowns show Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of the Queen on the obverse.
Each crown weighs 28.28g and is .925 Sterling Silver. Manufactured by The Royal Mint. Struck to Proof quality.
